Karla graduated from Sheridan College's Sports Injury Management program and went on to complete her certification with the CATA. In 2000, she obtained her Doctorate of Acupuncture. In the clinic, she utilizes many manual techniques such Muscle Energy and Myofascial Stretching. Karla has also worked extensively with all levels of competition from provincial to international and has participated as a member of the medical team for the Canadian and Provincial Games. Karla's range of experiences include: the Ontario Women's Baseball teams, marathon runners, and triathlon participants, dancers and providing coverage on such movie sets as Chicago andMusic Man. Karla currently spends time working and traveling with Stars on Ice.
