Youth Athletic Development
DCC welcomes youth of all ages and skill levels to benefit from our innovative approach to athlete development. As Toronto’s first “athletic playground” DCC is uniquely structured to provide a fun and exciting environment for youth to develop their athletic potential. We offer customized youth sport conditioning programs focusing on the key areas of injury prevention and movement coordination. DCC’s conditioning coaches create fun and progressive programs which integrate basic fundamental skills such as: balance, core strength, flexibility, speed and agility with dynamic sport-specific skills requiring functional strength and movement patterns. DCC youth conditioning programs not only strive to increase athletic talent, but to foster positive concepts of self-image and build confidence in today’s developing youth. Education for coaches on how to incorporate our techniques into practice is also available through our education department.
